MLP1 Approved Manager Training
 
 The new Management of Licensed Premises (MPL1) course is live today!

This course will replace the 52065 Course in Liquor Licensing course. Valid in WA only!

This course will help you to manage legislative responsibilities for the sale, supply and service of liquor - core unit.

You must already have your RSA certificate before starting this course!

  • If you don't have your RSA certificate select the RSA icon on the left to start your training.
  • You will be required to provide a copy of your RSA certificate prior to issue of your MLP1 certificate

  • MLP1 - Manage legislative responsibilities for the sale, supply and service of liquor is partial completion of the 52473WA course Management of Licensed Premises
  • MLP1 was created specifically for Western Australia as per Department of Racing, Gaming & Liquor approval and provides participants with the training competencies to manage a licensed premises.
  • This course is a mandatory requirement for persons applying for a Liquor Licence and also persons applying for an Unrestricted Approbed Manager ID card.

Assessment Process
  • Your competence will be assessed through a three-part process.
    • PART 1 - Multiple Choice
      • You will complete five Learning Modules. Each module will be followed by Assessment Questions
      • There are thirty-one (31) multiple-choice questions in the assessment.
      • If you are unsure of an answer during the multiple choice questions you may review the Learning Materials by selecting "EXPAND MENU"
      • You can Log Off and return to the assessment at any time you choose.
      • You will be required to correctly answer twenty-six (26) muliple-choice questions to be deemed competent to progress to the written test
    • PART 2 - Written Assessment
      • Upon successful completion of PART 1 you will be required to submit written answers to eight (8) questions on the Assessment Form.
      • You will not be able to review the Learning Materials at this stage.  It is recommended that you refer to your Workbook that you can download/print during your training.
      • After you are satisfied with your answers you can select SUBMIT to forward the Assessment Form to be checked.
      • You will be required to correctly answer six (6) of the eight (8) questions to be deemed Competent.
    • PART 3 - Authenticity
      • Following submission of your final Assessment Form you will be required to download your Authenticity Statutory Declaration
      • You will be required to complete the Statutory Declaration that you were the person whom completed the assessment and return to our office by mail, fax or email prior to the issue of your MLP1 certificate.
      • You will be required to show acceptable photographic evidence of your identity in the form of either; Current Driver Licence, or Current Passport, or Current Proof of Age card
      • Your declaration must be witnessed by any of the 50-types of approved persons on the Qualifications List.
